APWA held the 16 Days of Activism Campaign on violence against women from November 25th to December 10th 2017. The theme of the campaign was “zero Tolerance” -End violence against women and girls.
Various events, activities, awareness seminars, trainings, workshops and social gatherings were organized to eliminate violence against women and girls. To create awareness among women, lectures were conducted on legal rights of women. The campaign ended with a rally to condemn violence against women and girls.

APWA is a leading women-oriented organization that aims to raise awareness against all forms of injustice and discrimination against women and children. APWA’s focus is on training and lobbying for women working in the informal labour sector i.e. agriculture sector, home based women and domestic workers to include them in the formal labour sector of Pakistan. APWA believes that empowered women serve as a catalyst for positive change within society.
