APWA PUNJAB DISTRICT BRANCHES

APWA Punjab Headquarters, based in Lahore manages several programs, which include 20 Education and Multi-purpose Centres, APWA Youth Degree College, a Daycare Centre, 4 Women Hostels, a Skill Empowerment Centre, the Zeenat Auditorium, Merit scholarships for Students, Youth League, Legal Aid Cell, and 14 Family Welfare Health Centres.
Twelve District branches, which reach out to women at the grassroots level, are working under the direction of APWA Punjab Headquarters. These are based in Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Dera Ghazi Khan, Jhelum, Sialkot, Bahawalpur, Sargodha, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalnagar, Multan and Nankana Sahib.
APWA recently inaugurated a school in Manga Mandi.

APWA is a leading women-oriented organization that aims to raise awareness against all forms of injustice and discrimination against women and children. APWA’s priority is to invest in Girl Child Education, particularly in inaccessible areas. APWA’s focus is on training and lobbying for women working in the informal labour sector i.e. agriculture sector, home based women and domestic workers to include them in the formal labour sector of Pakistan. APWA believes that empowered women serve as a catalyst for positive change within society.
