Covid 19 has bring many challenges for economy. many people are jobless . To understand the need of the time APWA started, start and improve your Business (SIYB) and trained 60 young entrepreneurs(male +female). SIyB is a global ILO program roll out formally by APWA for the first time in March 18,2021.

To meet the global standards of competency based training Apwa invited Master trainer Mr. David kentendri from UGanda,who has observed and endorsed the training.

Ms. Dur e shawar (Lead Trainer) along with co- trainer Mr. Tajamul Hussain has conducted 12 days of training at APWA /HQ .

The ceremony of Certificate distribution and sharing of success stories was attended by Minister for Women Development Mrs. Ashifa Riaz Fitiana and Minister for Social welfare and Bait ul Mal Mr. Yawar Bukhari at Apwa Punjab HQs along with Chairperson Apwa Mrs.Ruhi Sayid , executive members , parliamentarians, media and representatives from civil society.

Mrs. Sayid has announced the full support to roll out SIYB to all the district branches of Apwa .First 2 days of training was on GYB , than another Batch has attended the Start your Business (SYB ). Third batch attended 5 days training of Improve Your Business (IYB) .

Apwa has launched the formal program and reaching out to build partnerships
